Local to numerous attractions, the King George Hotel is central to the Prague experience.  Many historical and dramatic places of interest are just a short walk away.

The King George Hotel is situated in the Old Town. Mentioned in 1091, the Old Town is the oldest of the towns in Prague. The Old Town Square is dominated by the Church of our Lady before Týn. Intense in it’s appearance, this gothic style church can be seen from all over Prague.

The Old Town Hall with it’s dramatic 69.5m tower offers beautiful views of the Old Town Square, Prague’s main market place until the beginning of the 20th century.

On the Old Town Hall Tower you will discover the exquisite Astronomical Clock, dating back to the beginning of the 15th century, the main attraction of this remarkable construction is the hourly procession of the 12 Apostles.

Powder Gate, where the 65m tall powder tower forms one of the 13 entrances to the Old Town.

The Jan Hus monument, which symbolises national rebirth and emphasises moral authority. And Bethlehem Chapel where Jan Hus preached between 1402 and 1413.
