Dvořák Prague Festival Rudolfinum 08.-24.09.2011
Dvořák Prague Festival is not only a celebration of the work of the most famous Czech composer, which draws attention to the contributions made to global music by this musical genius in a dignified manner, but is also an important social event. The festival is devoted to promotion of the life and work of A. Dvořák, with ramifications extending beyond its subject area and local extent. Every year, Prague becomes a mecca for globally famous orchestras, conductors and interpreters of classical music.
The focus of the festival is to promote the works and live of Antonín Dvořák in Prague and, at a later date, in Central Bohemia.
An equally important focal point is to turn Prague and Central Bohemia into an arena of international artists who come to the city and region to play the works of Antonín Dvořáka.
Antonín Dvořák is an international genius.
